Katrina & Rita Hurricane Update!!!
Ed has been helping in Beaumont, Texas; Lake Charles, Louisiana; and
in New Orleans, Louisiana since September, 2005. He was helping to
deliver work crews, fuel, supplies, and materials around the devastated
areas in New Orleans, the St. Bernard Parish, 9th Ward, and other areas.
Now, he is raising funds to help build 3 model energy-efficient homes.
These homes will be bought by local people and the funds used to train
unemployed and under-employed residents develop a skill building
many other houses.

If you would like to support his efforts, please contact him. The
immediate goal is $300,000. If you would like to make a tax-deductible
donation towards his needs, send your check to BMI Foundation, a
foundation of the National Heritage Foundation, 10915 Gatlinburg
Drive, Houston, TX 77031-1703. You will receive a receipt from the
National Heritage Foundation for all donations over $250. Lesser
amounts will be receipted from BMI Foundation.

on his extensive experience, we offer practical

our target audience includes those in urban
America, we work closely with those in other areas
to develop doable projects within urban America.
